Riwaq Villa

Designed as a small residential villa in Oman within a resort-like setting, Riwaq Villa centres family life around a private courtyard. Its name refers to a covered gallery or portico, reflecting the arches and sheltered walkways that frame the outdoor spaces.

A compact pool, palms and planted edges form the heart of the house, connecting glazed living areas with upper terraces and surrounding galleries.

Terracotta walls contrast with pale stone, dark metal framing and blue upholstery, establishing a warm palette across the interiors and courtyard. Patterned screens and pergolas filter sunlight, while an outdoor staircase and an internal stair create different routes between levels. Shaded seating areas provide places for gathering and quiet relaxation.
