Threefold House

Developed as a competition entry within a 10 × 10 × 10 envelope, Threefold House explores how three users can share a compact home while keeping a sense of individuality. Three repeated vertical volumes give the building a clear rhythm, expressing the relationship between personal spaces and a shared domestic setting.

The open lower level brings living and dining together, while the upper rooms offer quieter places to retreat.

The coastal setting shapes the experience of the house. Large glazed openings connect the interiors to the pool, planted garden and sea beyond. Warm terracotta surfaces, timber screens and neutral furnishings create a relaxed atmosphere, while slatted partitions and pergolas bring filtered light and privacy.
